Wooooooo! Propagandhi was definitely the best out of all of those. Municipal Waste was my second pick, that album is really good too.

I would have liked to have seen Ruiner win, but Potemkin City Limits was a great album as well.
Pretty nice list overall.

2005 was not a great year for good punk albums.

I agree that Propagandhi's album wasn't that fantastic. I think it was just the hype over they haven't released an album in so long.

I got Resolve yesterday and I was blown away by it. I have always liked them, but they really matured and put together some amazing music and lyrics. Their drummer is leet, just like Derrick was. If you like fast pop punk, definently get it.

Wish I could change my vote of Potemkim City Limits to Searching For A Former Clarity or Ruiner or maybe even Above The City.
So far the albums to be released next year sounds a little better.

No one nominated Blacklisted, that's why it's not on the list.

^^^
The thread I took nominations from was very unofficial and this poll was very unscientific. I think one person mentioned Blacklisted, so it got bumped out.

I need to buy some of these. I havent picked up the new lagwagon record, or the new suicide machines. DAMN i havent even gotten PCL!

I think you misunderstood me. I just meant that their were albums that weren't punk in the best punk album of the year. Thanks Brain Toad for clearing that up for me.

How is it the new Lagwagon is below the new Suicide Machines? Resolve was easily one of the top five punk albums this year... and BTW, the new Prop pwned this year, definitely. Anyone who thought it was overrated hasn't listened to it.

I agree w/ the first half of your statement, Lagwagon should be higher.
Prop on the other hand.... it wasnt as good as TETA. and its hard to compare them, but wasnt as good as HTCE. It is slower than they're other stuff. They have the hard/fast moments, but there is too much filler and that gets annoying. Still good tho...
