Techno/Dance Vocals

what would you guys suggest for a plugin or settings to put for vocals on a techno song on Audacity?

maybe similar to Depeche Mode or New Order? echo is the closest I've gotten but it still doesn't sound similar. the default settings are fine for acoustic songs usually, but for this electronic music I have... I need more on the vocal effects.

any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

A vocoder would be good for Daft Punk like vocal effects.

But try some sort of high pass filter, perhaps.
Slowly modulting the frequency roll off point of this filter will give that filtered-like fade in/out that is very common in electronic music.
I wish I could think of an example of this effect. But it really is one that you'd reckognise straight away if you heard it.
