How do I take out changes?

So, I'm sitting here, trying to figure out the changes for Diana Krall's recording of "Temptation" (original by waites), but I can't seem to do it. I've never learned to take out changes for any songs, so this is really hard for me. It's easy for me to figure out the key, I just play a few notes and see which ones fit, the key is Cm, but I have no idea how to go about taking out the changes, so if someone could give me some suggestions on how to go about doing this, that would be great...

If listen to the bass, it will almost always play the root of the chord on the downbeat. From there you should be able to figure out if its major, minor, etc.
