The first is a 1981 Ibanez Roadster. These basses were awesome. Not to mention that Steve Harris used one for a while. They came stock with DiMarzio pickups and a small preamp. It cost me $100.00 with original hardshell case.

The second is my drum set. It's a 6 piece Tama set. It has Sabian Cymbals.

Double threads own :)
How's the drumkit play, and if the other thread gets deleted, hows the bass play? I think white P/U covers on a black bass looks ugly

They both play nice. BTW, the pickup covers are cream. They just look white in the pic.

Nice Ibanez. Looks a lot like a Peavey Fury, in my opinion. Bet it plays good, though.

Man, where do you find these steals?
Anything new going on with the luthier business?
Sweet cymbals on that kit.

Yep, I'm making 4 basses for myself.
I'm also getting a bit frustrated. I understand that I'm "just starting out" in the whole going public with this thing. This is one reason I'm keeping my prices low. A few of my friends who own my basses have repeatedly told me I could get 4 times what I actually charge for one of my basses. A few of them (who also own Alembics) have said the craftsmanship, quality, and sound were equal to, or was better than Alembic.
What I'm getting a bit frustrated with is people filling out price quote forms for standard optioned basses when the price for the standard option bass is on my web site.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind sending out quotes, but I'm almost inundated with quotes that just don't pan out.
I've also got alot of people that say I don't have many reviews on my basses. Believe me, I could load up my web site with reviews from my family members that own some of my basses, but I feel that it would be extremely tacky and then people would say that those reviews were biased.
Alot of other high end basses don't get "played out" regularly by big name musicians, but they are highly praised. For instance, How many internationally known bassists regularly play a Ritter or others?
Oh well, just a rant. Although, if I don't start generating some business soon, I'm just going to make stuff for myself and my small circle of family and friends.

wow, you have your toms and cymbals setup at quite a vertical angle there man. When I play drums I set it up a lot differently... meh... personal preference I suppose. Nice finds regardless, I've heard great things about those old Ibanez Roadsters, plus DiMarzio always makes me smile, so.... :D

your not getting much business? that surprises me...
if you've got other basses made for friends / family... why not put them in your gallery (or was it inventory?)... it might spark some other interests....
btw, nice ibanez :thumb:... how much for the set?

Don't tell me you know everything about drum equipment, too?
You take far too many shits, my good man.

Same here. I'll wait until I get enough to pay for half of it first.

Didn't 'Arry only play the Roadster in two videos? As far as I know he always used his Precision for recording and live.
And d@mn you for always finding great basses :upset:

F*CK YOU :thumb:
That bass is a really nice find! I had the chance to buy a Peavey T-40 for like 120 or something like that, but I first need a new cabinet.. And I'm not a man of many basses. Two or three is enough for me.
And to have a drumset is also superb.
