Vocal mixing

So what do you guys use to process recorded vocals and which effects do you believe give the best effect on a vocal track?

I don't put anything on for the hell of it. I've gone without EQ or compression sometimes because the track simply didn't need it. Unless I'm looking for a specific effect I'll stick to what the track needs, usually compression and EQ.
