Thanks lots x

yeah, it isnt a review, thus it shouldnt be in the review section - im sure Mr Tryxx or Mr Wintermute will move it for you :thumb:

The Equipment Reviews section is, shockingly enough, for reviews of equipment. :thumb:

If you send me the £500, I promise that I'll send you goodwill back.
Can we have a bit more information?
The two basses that sprung to mind are the Ibanez BTB, or the Yamaha RBX series.

A rare bass you will find people dont have is Tobias's. They're pretty nice and quite overlooked. I'm thinking about buying a five string Tobias even. Or a Schecter. My money is split between the two.
BUT as somebody will say along the line 'go to your local bass imporium and try out stuff.' Its so true...

Depends what type of music you're into as well. It'd be helpful if you told us what you want from a bass.

Indeed, for £500 i got my Tobias Pro 6 string, which is still the nicest bass i've ever played...
