That joke has never been used without me editing whatever was said. It didn't even make sense in the context you put it.

Chain are from the next town over. Their guitarist is doing a band with the singer from Papa Roach and my friend's boss at Vans. The singer's a cop in another town near here.

I'm very ashamed. It's terrible that I go to at least a couple shows a month and hang out with friends on the weekends. I see more shows in a couple week than you've seen in your life.

It's a pretty valid thing to say. Anyway, as for shows, we don't have one quarter of the shows you get and even then, I'm not going to go to every one. You don't have to take a tube alone into one of the rouhgest parts of London.
