Make one (or more) resolutions for the new year that have to do with Sputnik.
Mine is to become more of a mature poster on the site and to not get into pointless arguements.

Self-deprecation from Steve there.
My new year's resolution is to get better. Or maybe I was doing that anyway. Who cares I ask.
Teach me to be like you, Sylvia.

Change 'Dr. House' to 'Dr. Ruth'. ;)
I don't make resolutions, because I think they're bullshit. Using a new year as an excuse to clean up one's act is a bunch of crap. People should constantly work at meeting goals, not waiting until the new year to start.
Besides, none of you are going to follow through on your resolutions. You're all going to relapse come February, just like any other resolution.

I'm going to review some metal albums.
oh shi
I'll laugh in Jom's face when I manage to meet that goal.
Pfft. That's like Richard Simmons saying, "I resolve to be gay, athleticly fit, and loud in 2006!"
In short, if people are expecting it, then it's not much of a resolution, right? Heh.

Are you saying people are expecting me to review metal, or they're expecting me to laugh in your face? Either way it's going to happen.
Nick, you should have left this thread closed.

The bolded is what I had in mind.
As for your second option, I don't care if that happens. The people I take seriously here know who they are. The others are just people who are looking for self-worth on the Internet since they can't find it elsewhere. It's no big thing. What they have to say holds no significant power.
I dig your reviews, by the way. I would expect more consistently well-written reviews from you, as per usual. But you know that.

Oh Jom, I (heart) you, I could never laugh in your face. You're damn good of course. :)
This thread was closed? Why didn't somebody tell me? If I had known, I wouldn't have bumped it and made myself look like a fool. :(
Heh, DFelon closed it because he thought it was stupid, but then opened it again. It's no big thing.

It was a joke on DFelon's part. I guess.
