Looks like a Jaguar guitar, or a BAss V, but it has 4 strings.
What makes you think its a fender anyways?

it's one of those new Jaguar basses, right? They are pretty neat, they have an onboard preamp and other oddities

It's a CIJ Jaguar. Yes, it is a Fender.

Just a switch for in phase and out of phase, so not really. I'm pretty sure it's an easy passive mod if you wanted to do it. Much like a DPDT switch, and Series/Parallel, and all that good stuff.
I'd really like one...
Why do't they sell them in the US. And why aren't they mentioned on the American fender website?

I do like that, most Fenders I find pretty dull, but that looks ace.

Damn and i though the New fender Jazz with the 24frets and Actice EQ was special this takes the cake...
I just wish it had more frets.

Yeah, same here. I think that looks really hot. Much like a lot of Fenders, if it had 24 frets, I would be all over that.

How are Japan Fenders? Because on that website there are quite a few basses that catch my eye.

I think they range from $600-$900, but don't quote me on that.

^ and quality-wise, they are great. Personally, I think they're the most bang for your Fender buck. Here's a review of the Jaguar Bass: http://fenderforum.com/forum.html?db=&topic_number=524559
