I thought of this while going through my recommendations on Last.fm. Maybe it catches on :)

Post the recomms that Last.fm calculated for you and that you do not know to get some hints if you should check it out. Maybe post what you're listening to currently for better judgement.

I'll ask first:

Recently discovered/listening to:

Norma Jean
Fear before the March of Flames
The Fall of Troy
Blood Brothers
The Mars Volta

Recommended by Last.fm:

Bleeding Through
PANIC! at the Disco
Between the buried and me
Chiodos
The Faint
Between the buried and me
Chiodos
The Faint
Between the buried and me
Remembering Never
Emery

So, based on what I'm into now, what would you say would be the best to check out next?

Well that is a terrible recommendation list for the most part.

I don't really know/heard songs by most of the bands listed there, that's why I asked here.

As far as I know, the recomms are calculated by comparing the bands you listen to the hearing habits to other people. The bands most of the people listen to that you have not in your profile are recommended to you. Not 100% sure though
