I saw a Pearl at the Guitar Center today...it was amazing and I wanted it so bad. Should I sell the cymbals to because they are ZBT's and I hate them.

eh not much
Beginner sets don't maintain much of their value for resale. They're cheap enough as it is new, people don't want to shave like $50-100 off the price to get something that might have been treated like crap. I'd say $200, tops.

It hasn't been treated like crap...what about $300...its almost brand new

I'd say like $200 max, and that's if it's in like perfect condition.

WOW! thats the most zbt I have seen on a kit. Yes, for the love of God sell them. Sell them and get som good avedis. A custom's are too bright and shiny, they stop looking good if you are too lazy to polish them, and well...I am. HAHA.
For four hundred... I guess thats ok. I mean I bet you could have talked him down, but don't feel bad. You got a lot of cymbals to start out with. Yes 400 dolars was ok. But you should have gone for a 400 dolar mapex or tama, and bought the cymbals for him. That probably would have been the cheapest way to get a quality kit from the get go.

I dunno man, 300 is a stretch. I would say 250 if you want to go high on it, but I don't think you'll be able to get more then 200.
BTW, I like your gong
$150-$200. no more than $200.

Paid $400 for small drum company's begginer drum set.
Slash that in half, if its in good conditon: $200
If its in crap condition find another drum set.

On the other hand that IS the typical ebay setup (no offense!) *deeply tilted drums and cymbals, stickers gallore), however you do have nice new heads on it so yeah.
Put a starting bid of $200, and see what happens from there.

Not at this time of the year. At this time, they are probably flooded with entry kits already to sell. That's what music stores do. They wont want to buy a beginer kit.
Sell it on ebay. Buy it now option for 250, start bidding at 150. You can't loose like that.

isn't that against ebay policy in some way? the exaggeration part that is...
How on earth do you use your slave pedal? the hihat leg is right above it.
If you do sell it on ebay make sure you clean the kit up real good and say stuff like original heads on the toms and so on, that will usually add some value to it.

The heads are stock crap.
The set is cheap.
$100 at most.
If someone were to spend $400 on that, I'd say just go get a major brands low end kit.

If I were buying it I'd pay $150 with cymbals. The thing is anyone that has more then $350 probaly is saving for a better kit. And the people that would buy this kit probaly couldn't afford more then $200.

I thought I was the only one who did that. Except..my slave is on the opposite side of the hi-hat pedal. It's the only way I can do it with a 3-leg stand, but it works just fine.
Peace.

I don't have that piece of s*** stand anymore...it broke a long time ago. I bought a Tama hi-hat stand and you can adjust the legs on it. Pretty sweet.
