I was looking into getting new cymbals. I mostly play rock/metal/classic rock. I was looking at the Zildjian Z Custom box set, Zildjian A Custom box set or the Zildjian A Box set. For my genere what set would you recommend? Thanks.

Either the A's or A Customs. They are great cymbals. I have a 17" A Custom Fast Crash and I love it, as well as 14" A New Beat hi hats. They are great too. The few Z's I have heard were all very very unimpressive. I have only heard a couple crash's though. But yeah, both the A's are great cymbals.

Buying cymbals individually is a lot better. Mix'N'Match

Either the A or the A Custom, skip the Z :thumb:

No Z. I would say go with the As. Very nice set of cymbals.

I would skip the Zs, except for the rides. The rides work very well if you want a very strong, bright, and pingy sounding. Go with some nice As, skip the A Customs too, sound like cutting glass.

I would test them all out seperatly. It is way better to buy them like that, but if you can't then get the A pack.

Well i would say the Z's, due to you playing rock/metal/classic rock.
But in saying that, they are a veary limited sound, so i would go for either of the A's.
