It seems like every time the subject of metalcore comes up now, everyone says Botch or Converge (maybe the occasional Coalesce) to sound like they only listen to the old, good metalcore. There's other good metalcore bands and I'm not saying the list didn't turn out pretty horrible, it's just it seems like this list would be like

The music they play it too unique and unorthodox to be put into a genre as simple as metalcore. I'm not even sure what I'd call them. It's definitely not metalcore. Departing Flights, In Our Defense, Stray Bullet, etc.
