hey whats up, well im gonna be putting together my own snare drum in the near future and i was just lookking for some help/advice. well im gonna be ordering a 7x14 keller shell and im ordering a wrap from jamminsam.com now on tht site there is like this video thing like explaining how to put on the wrap here it is in case u wanna see it mms://64.224.5.139/jamminsam.com/drumwrapvideo.wmv and well i was just wondering well if first of all, anybody had some tips on putting on the wrap well and secondly, i dont have a drill like the dude has, but i was thinkin, he also just makes the holes by sticking a nail then drilling, well i was wondering wouldnt it be fine just to use the nail to poke the holes? i mean would i just wanna use the drill to make it aesthetically pleasing or what? cuz well yeah i was hoping to jus be able to use the nail...so yeah any advice would be good, thankss
