I've got an acoustic bass by Starfire. It's a bit on the crap side, but then they are very very cheap. :)
It's not too bad if you stay out of the upper registers though.
How much did the Status set you back?
Edit : Not a fan of coffin cases. I'm sure they protect the instrument well, but I'd... never want to take it out in public. People might see.

Ok, the song is NOT Completed, the guitarist had to go to a CHURCH CONCERT in the middle of the recording process, so we had to copy'n'past from the Trial recordings to get something decent, i like the song, but i dont like the way it is on this recording, cause you can hear that we are still working on some parts... anyhow.... ENJOY ;)

i think alot of people assume that people with coffin cases play BC rich guitars. I mean, theyre practically made to fit a warlock.

And a B.C. Rich is just a guitar with a shape. It just happens to be a shape I wouldn't be seen dead with. :)

You seem like your putting me in box with them who play B.C Riches... and thats just... wrong!
Its a Case! Judge people by the instruments they play, not by the case they move it in...:)

I'm not slagging off all B.C.Riches...
All I'm trying to say is that TO ME, the Coffin Case (and the more well known B.C.Rich designs) looks like it's trying way too hard to be cool. If you like it, then by all means use it. It's just my opinion.

The song sounds pretty sweet :)
I bet that most of the sound is coming from that SWR head, isn't it? That brand always surprises me when I play through an amp of them. The sound in the beginning is very, very sweet for that kind of music. Sometimes it gets a bit harsh though..
I got to love your lines, but sometimes you seem to fall a bit over your own lines. Work a bit on that, get a singer and it will be very nice to listen to! Props for the guitarist.
Glad to have you back :thumb:

Yeah, i know, im gonna try to dial in a little more growl... but as far as i see im pretty Close to my favourite tone(Geddy Lee on "Counterparts") Now..
Kilian: yeah, as i said, i fecked up acouple of places becouse this was not meant to be the used take... if we have ever had gotten the time to do a proper take, i would have been much more in time, and the line would be more "full", like the "Bass Solo"... its not how i feel it gonna end up..
The overall song is not complete, im gonna make it a bit longer and such, ad a new part maby...

Maybe the La Villa Strangiato tone would fit in better? (that's my favorite Geddy tone...either that or Cygnus X-1)
