Okay my parents said they would get me one cymbal for christmas and i need to choose it soon...i have an 18" Avedis Medium Thin Crash (sounds okay as a ride) and don't know if I should get the 20" K Custom Ride or 16" A Custom Crash..I'm also considering AAX and HHX series but there are no sound clips on musicians friend :mad: and dumb me didn't think of trying them at my local music shop today. UGH! (The HHX and AAX cymbals I've heard on DVD's from crossroads festival and such are very nice but I have no way to compare :confused: )

Yeah man, just get that once you raise your snare up. :) Thats especially important for metal playing, its really hard to go between the snare and toms when the snare is that low.

agreed, also check out some of the AA rides, they are good. and one of my personal favorites(although this might be too pricey) is the 21'' Paiste Signature Dry Heavy Ride
