I have what could be a major problem with my Ibanez RG series. Basically, on the bridge, each string has its own spring loaded groove that it sits in and in turn each of these grooves has what looks like a peg (with a whole for an allen key) that keeps each spring loaded bit in a certain place. I noticed a couple of days after buying the guitar (second hand) the peg like thing was missing on the A string groove. I thought nothing of it as it sounded in tune around the 12th fret and so inotation was not an issue. However, after some major whammy abuse today, I snapped the D String, looked at my guitar, and this peg thing was missing of the D groove as well. I can't find this little ****ty thing and i am getting worried.

Now anybody who made any sense of that and knows something about floyd rose bridges. What should I do, can these things be bought? Easily fitted? how the **** do i stop losing them? help would be appreciated.

Take your guitar into a shop.

If these things are "missing" you might want to see if you can get replacement parts. Take it down to your nearest guitar shop and see if you can locate the problem and get it fixed. It sounds a lot different to my own Licensed FR bridge so i'm afraid I can't help too much with the technicalities of the bridge itself.
