I personally don't like the way thumbs look. Like stated earlier, they look quite..phallic.

hey ladies ;)
Im sure they'd want some protection. I dont think id like a piece of natural wood going up there.
Im so over warwick necks.

Paint Job.

By far. Block colours are a crime against wood. Transparent finishes can be nice, but a good natural finish is easily king.

My biggest debate with warwick is how many strngs Id want on it.
I think natural with a with a glossy look looks best.

Some woods, yes.
But natural bubinga, ovangkol, cocobolo, ebony, purpleheart, bloodwood, padouk, etc, are all ace.
Something like poplar or swamp ash, mos def need a paint job.
And i like stains on maple.

Transparent pwns all.
Sorry WM.
EDIT: Okay, I just saw some wicked awesome poplar burl that I admit, does not need a paint job. Most burl woods I've seen don't.
... i dont feel id ever need a 6string, or am advanced enough for a fretless... but a warwick of that quality at that price.....
