no, the toms are pearl sessions, just put on a different kit

Are you suggesting that somebody drilled a hole in the toms to put the mounts on there? Because there are definitely mounts on those toms.
Although the mounting system really doesnt agree with the 10 lug snare and bass drums. Really, really weird

It's an older set, Pearl Session Elites are an older version of the Sessions from what I've heard.

Perhaps the badges were replaced? Those are glued on, correct?
If it is real deal, you got a great one!

I guess I was wrong but you should replace that Mapex bass reso, it is a little out of place on a pearl wouldn't you think

yeah i just picked it up and haven't really had time to set it up right...but that 14" rack tom seems weird to set up a way that will be comfortable

Old sessions had that mounting system.

that mounting system with all those lugs? and it was 100% maple? thats really, really weird. If thats the case, i bet the kit would sound really good with a suspended mounting system

Usually i'm not one to rag on people for tom angles and such, but that kit is set up HORRIBLY. There is no possible way you can effectively play that thing.
