hey tell me about how it sounds because i was about to buy one with double bass drum but the guy from guitar center told me that it is a beginner drumset is that true???

Yes it is a beginner drumset. You should save your money up and get something better...I wish I would have. Tuned up they sound good, but nothing like maple or birch haha.

Plan B: Naw haha it's top over bottom. You can't see the "groove hat" imprint because of the light.
