Hey guys. Ive been looking all over google and online gear places but I cant find it. How much do rivets cost and how would I go about putting them in? And would my 18" Wuhan china sound good with them in it?

Most companies have a system where you send in the cymbals and they will do the rivets for free, though I think if you lay a chain over the cymbal it will have the same effect, and it's not permanant.

Unless I'm mistaken, Pro Mark sell such a chain. Or is it Paiste? I forget.
Anyway, most of the time, you can arrange to send your cymbal in and the company will do it for you.

Alright cool. Because I was at GC today and they had a Swish Knocker and I just fell in love with the sound.

Tape 2 or 3 small coins to a cymbal. Doesn't look too hot, but it sounds great and is easily removable.

Just go to a hardware store and buy a light fixture pull chain or two. Then it's removable and you haven't permanently altered your cymbal.

Yeah I got my sizzle chain from my kitchen sink plug. Works a treat.
