offset, anything that's gonna help speed up your strokes is a good idea IMO.

Depends what style you play, how you play, what speeds you play....

I personally like switching over from one to another for different styles that's why I got an Elim....

Offset: The beater gains speed as it approches the end of the stroke....
Round: The beater keeps a constant speed throughout the stroke....
