Now I am recording in my flat which is made of concrete, so therefore it is great for acoustics! Sure.
I haven't posted for a while, but I hope some people here remember me. If not, thanks for listening.

i liked it. everything seemed good, besides the vocal mic. it seems kinda dead sounding. but you have killer ideas/tone n' whatnot.

Not the way I would do things but it's a very solid song. I like the vocals because they're not over the top and your lyrics are good in combination with your voice, it sounds very honest. Good sh!t son!

I'm interested in how you'd do it. Cause I've had this song on me for about a year now, and just can't find the right approach. So I'm open to variations. Overall good comments. Gracias.

I'm impressed. From a songwriter standpoint...that was well done. From a composer's standpoint...you should give it better form. Add a bridge and turn-arounds... perhaps vary the key in the bridge.
But of course...maybe stay in the same key... I know how to compose... i'm not a songwriter per say. I don't hear many acoustic guitar/singing modulations in modern music...
maybe you could make that your thing

I like the song...

I think the tune itself its catchy and the lyrics are good but I think you should more stuff to it to make it more interesting cause it kinda gets boring at the end....but still good job.

I could imagine myself listenin to a better version of this and burnin it on a cd!:P (if you allow it of course lol)

mmm sounds good. as mentioned your voice suits the vocals really well... id add a bit more to the guitar part tho especially if your playing solo - even if its just a few fills or variations - it really adds a lot to the overall effect.

If possible try to vary your voice a bit more... mainly trying to make it more powerful in the chorus for example.

if your looking to experiment aquire some software such as fruity loops, cakewalk or reason (any sequencer like that... fruity loops is great creativity wise, plus its powerful enough to do anything the more expensive programs can if you know how).... record some samples or tracks and put them in.... add a few beats, other instruments, effects, etc, etc see what you come up with.

If your looking for some inspiration have a look at artists such as David Grey, KT Tunstall - all those kinda UK based acoustic/pop/rock sounds. (www.purevolume.com/getcapewearcapefly and www.myspace.com/getcapewearcapefly - theres not a lot on there but if you can get hold of the EP its definately worth a listen - acoustic based songs but hes done all the backing tracks and mixing on his laptop, and it works really well the way its been produced. Definately worth checking out anyway
