View Full Version : A suggestion. (This isn't a song, this is an actual suggestion)

Now, I have absolutely no idea how any of you feel on this, to be honest. But, for someone like myself, who spends alot of time (and by alot, I mean most of the day) writing, this "one song a day" rule is a bit restrictive. I don't know if this has been addressed before (other than when mods reinforce it). But, raising the limit to two would be helpful I think. Or, another idea, people could have more than one song on each thread, as long as they are CLEARLY marked, I think that would work, because it won't clog up the whole forum. And maybe for every extra song you posted, you'd be obligated to do an extra crit or two. It's just really annoying if you write three songs one day, and you have to wait three days to post all of them, but during that time you write three more...and on and on the cycle goes. All I'm asking is for you mods to consider it, and for those of you who have strong opinions either way to state them, and to see where this goes. Carry on...

There's another solution: Don't post everything you write. Personally, I only post the stuff I'm not very satisfied with.

I don't post everything I write, the three I was referring to, are the ones I want to post, I didn't include the ones I don't.

The rule was mainly inforced because the crit to song ratio was getting out of hand. If you post all three songs, and then crit everyone else on the front page, I doubt anyone would give you any **** about it.

Hmm, well, I never got that feeling from the mods.

I've never gotten anything but a condescending tone from almost anyone here. It's the internet man.

The mods are ice cold when it comes to the song-a-day rule. Last guy who tried to change it, well... lets just say he's not with us anymore.

Think of it like this...

I consider myself a mediocre critic, nonetheless, I try to give some good advice and what not with other people, especially on the internetz.

Anyhow, if you post 3 songs, I will more likely just crit one, as it'll take thrice the time making it a full, good crit. If you want mediocre crits, then what the hell. Just wait for all the newbies to say "lol good great 10/10" and that's it. If you want great crits, then you can wait for a second there. Or a day.
