I've had the dw 5000 double pedal since August....and ever since i bought it...after only 5 minutes of light playing.. the screws on the connector rod come loose and fly across the room....causing the rod to diconnect from the pedals.
The other problem is that i've obviously lost 3 screws already....and I don't want
to buy more, because I'm poor.lol.

I'm only sixteen, and i have super weak legs, and i play very lightly, and i have tightened the screws as tight as possible, but they always pop loose.

The connector rod(and anything related to it) is not accepted in DW's warranty...

$350 was a ton of money for me to invest in this pedal....so if anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it very much.
Thanks.

Guess what. Connector rods aren't $350.00... they are like $25.00. Get a new one.

yea odds are you jsut got a defective pedal. call up DW and ask them if you can order one or go to your local music store and have them do it.

Maybe this is your problem?
Try not tightening them so tight.

Bring it back to the store you bought it at with your receipt.
If they dont take it, bitch! IF they still dont take it, ask for DW's number, followed by bitching at DW!!! Cause a major ****! NObody cares if they make great stuff if something doesnt work. YOu dont have to spend a penny if their **** doesnt work. But because you waited so long, you could be screwed depending on their return policy. Either way bitch about that. Their stuff shouldnt break, tell them you've barely used them. If you cant do it, get a bigger, more intimidating person to do it for you. You'd be surprised at how that works.

But even when I first got it, I barely tightened them, and it still happened.

Thanks for the help, however it's been like 4 months since I bought it, so musician's friend's return policy is long gone.

Where can I buy connector rods?
thanks.
