Yep, i went and saw Mudvayne, Sevendust, 10 year's and Bobaflex.. i was front row too... bobaflex was really good, someone said they suck.. they were good, and funny.. great show.. bassist was sweet, TONS of low end through all mesa rig + stingray... twas secks.... 10 Years was boring but good like CD.. Sevendust re-newed my love for them... spectacular show...
Mudvayne though.... they were sweet, tons of energy.. however, i couldn't hear Ryan for SH!T... he got lost in the mix so badly... only a few moments could i hear him, mainly on upper register.. he switched between a thumb 4 and 5 depending on the song's...
in the end, i got 1/4 of a rag from Mudvayne that the guitarist through out, a pick that the bassist of sevendust personally handed me during a song, and to meet 10 year and bobaflex + autographs :thumb:
has anyone else seen mudvayne? i was disappointed i couldn't hear Ryan :(.. he looked funny w/ the make up.. they all had make up on like in the old days..
on another note of excitement.. *waves around $225*
I sold my Peavey TKO 115 tonight.. about 1/2 an hour ago! :thumb:
kid never even played it? he said he wanted it though... :smash:

Had to be the mix. Normally, Ryan is VERY detectable.

haha, I saw that same exact tour when it hit new york last week. Amazing show. You're right about the Bobaflex dude, that rig was amazing.
And at my concert I heard Ryan just fine. It still doesn't beat when I saw them at CBGB's, I was right in front of them all show, Chad stage dove on me twice, amazing concert.
I saw Mudvayne in concert 4 times this year, feb at CBGB's, april at Roseland, July at Ozzfest, and last week at Nokia Theater. All of them were good excpet ozzfest all I could hear was bass drum from every band, so i couldn't hear him there, but the rest of the concerts I heard him fine. It's a shame, they're so great live.
Oh, and they are doing makeup again? When I saw them last week, Chad just had a bear suit on (no clue why) and Greg had goggles, but not the rest. I wish I would have seen them all with the old make up.
Congrats on meeting Bobaflex and 10 Years, I bet that was cool :thumb:

Hey Sixner, they are already on the radio with the Deftones/Thrice in Dayton in Feb
I was gonna go to that same show in NJ the other day, but was too lazy. Sevendust is one of the best live rock bands around today, ive seen them like 3 times and they never dissapoint.

I saw Mudvayne at Download this year, bass was VERY clear, sounded awesome. THe whole band were really tight together, got a pretty decent crowd reception considering it was like 11.30 in the morning as well and of course a lot of people were recovering from hangovers.:chug:

Yeah...I could see all the flashy stuff Martinie was doing, but all I heard was double bass, screaming, and super-distorted guitar. He might as well just not play.
As far as selling your Peavey, congrats you made the right choice.

they who? and if your talking about deftones, thrice + more for the Taste of Chaos tour in Dayton, that's not till March i believe... it's a friday... if i can get someone to go with me, i'll make the drive out there (hour and 45 minutes or so) and probably sleep in my car over night...
To MasterofBass - yeah they had make up on... guitarist did have those goggles on + white face paint and 'blood' on his hand's and face... Ryan had his entire head black... Chad (singer) came out with a red and yellow polka dotted clown Fat suit! it was hilarious.. he was shakin his as$ to dig.. his mohawk was blue and he had black and white face paint... it was funny...
and, yeah 10 years and Bobaflex were really cool guy's.. they offered me to hang out w/ em back stage, but my friend did that w/ them when she saw them and ended up doing heroin and everything... i dont do drug's, so i passed..

I was the guy who didnt like Bobaflex, and my dislike of them probably happened because while we were sitting in the parking lot, this Bobaflex van was blasting the same 3 songs over and over, and they werent exactly "great" songs. They were cool guys, however, and I got their autographs.
When I saw Mudvayne, you could moderately hear Ryan, it was still very cool
