Some pics of my kit....please excuse the limited picture angles, as it is almost impossible to walk around my room with my kit set up, hehe....its soo worth it though....much better than having it in pieces on the ground. Breathing room is overrated anyways in my opinion.

For some reason I thought you had a mirror chrome kit and a black one because something made either bass black in 2 pictures.

Leet pedals.
But you really need one of those bass -> hihat clamps to get those hats in closer.

Nice. Not sure about the hi-hat placement, wouldn't work well with me going from double bass to hi-hat. But if it works for you, cool.
Good stuff man.

Hahaha, well first off the Musashi snare is amazing.....i have mine tuned up pretty high and i get an Awesome crack, and ear shattering rim shots.
Secondly Misty Chrome and Gun Metal Metallic are different...i had to get the expansion toms in that color bacause i couldnt find anywhere that had the Misty Chrome ones...but the color is close enough for me, so im not complaining
Third....i have sacrificed watching T.V. to have my drums set up in my room....which in my opinion is a small price to pay becuase i dont watch much T.V. anyways. Otherwise i would have to keep them in a pile in the corner (nowhere else in my house that i could place em)....and that would suck.
as for the hi-hat placement...i agree it is quite odd looking but i dont use it that much, usually only to ride on, and when i do use it its easy enough to get to...at least it works for me, hehe.
And for the cost of this monstrosity, ive easily payed close to $3000 for everything ($500 for the pedals alone). but that wasnt in one shot....ive been putting this thing together for a year now, and Radioshack pay's me well :)

He can't really, unless he has a remote/legless stand.

Thats sweet man, love the setup. Do you play open handed? Just try lowering and flattening your snare slightly, and move your kick beaters out, and your kit will be even more killer.

GOGOGOG ROCKSTARS :P how much was the bass drum?
being as Tama discontinued the rockstar i had to get the second bass drum off ebay....to say the least i got lucky and won the bid for like $90....plus the drum had a trigger installed in it, so i think i made out pretty well in that respect.

well, i agree, hi-hats shouldnt just be used for riding....but with most of the music i play, there isnt much use for the hi-hat.....yes i know i could make a use for it, and i do sometimes....but just not all the time, lol. and i know the placement is odd, but to be honest it really isnt difficult to manage at all, i just shift my foot back a bit and step on the pedal.....my foot doesnt need to be straight on the pedal for the hi-hat to work, and thats why i have it set up as such. although i will say a bass drum clamp and new hi-hat stand would be useful.

Bloody hell thats a steal! Im looking for a 16' and a 13' for my Set of Rockstar customs so that i can change the toms to rocksize, or have them back to fusion or also join them all up to make a massive kit...Being all the way in NZ doesnt really help..>.<
