keith moon, id second that. I have quite a funny video of him. It was when he used his clear acrulics with the goldfish, then after his solo he takes questions from the crowd. One lady asks "What happens to the goldfish?" He quickly replys, "Even the best drummers get hungry"

Great delievery hes a great guy.

there are so many drummers, even unknown ones. there is no way to really say "which drummer is the funniest". also most of have not been around professional drummers. i think this is a useless thread only because of the reason above.... like how do you know bernard purdy is funnier than danny carey or marco minniman? you dont, but i guess it dosnt hurt to have some fun in putting in your say.... i think marco is funny only because he looks insane when he drums and his face is always changing.....it almost looks like hes suprised when he plays a kick *** beat or something

I dunno man, I'd say as far as drummers go, the guy's underrated.

He's got some chops and some surprisingly creative beats (The interlude for the song "Makes No Difference" comes to mind).

Personally, I think he's pretty damn good (realtive to other drummers in his genre).

Chad is one funny guy, he managed to throw his stick in the air while playing and ctach it again then play in time again. Thats not all, between it leaving his hand and getting back to it the stick hit him on the head then hit the snare (in time) and then he played. he also does funny stuff about banging himself on the head in one can't stop live performance I've seen a vid of

Keith Moon is by FAR the funniest drummer who ever lived, people who are saying otherwise just haven't seen enough of his material, whether playing or not.

That said, he isn't alive, so I guess he doesn't count for this thread :(
His antics in interviews are great. I love the part in The Kids Are Alright when he reaches over to Townshend and rips his shirt apart.
