So I am looking to find some more good rap. My favorite rap artists are Lil Wyte, Andre NIckatina, People under the stairs, and basically those are all the ones I really like.

I stole a Kurupt tape from my friend's sister a long time ago. Her car door was unlocked so I snatched it. She was hot.

Oh yeah, on topic. Since you like People Under the Stairs, maybe look into Camp Lo, De La Soul and stuff.

Try Aussie/New Zealand HipHop. Like, the Hilltop Hoods or Scribe and P-Money. You will either love it or want it die.

I was going to make a thread on the Aus Hip Hop scene this week, but unfortunately I ran out of time. It'll be done in February when I'm back on mx.

Hilltop Hoods own though, so you guys should give them a look.

EDIT: go to http://www.hilltophoods.com/html_version/audio.html for some sample songs. I suggest The Sentinel.

He's got a really good marketing campaign, though. WWJD motherfuckers!

If you want something well-produced and lyrically different to lots of the mainstream stuff, check out the CD "The Rising Tied" by Fort Minor, which is the name of Mike Shinoda's (from Linkin Park) side project. I recommend the limited edition CD/DVD as it comes with 3 extra tracks which are right up there with the rest of the album.

You know, when it comes down to it, Jesus is actually a decent MC. It's really his fans that bugs me. I mean, he's got a huge fan base, but some of them seem to interpret his message incorrectly.

His collaborations with John the Baptist is bitchin' though.

Add Sage Francis, Eyedea & Abilities, the Roots, and A Tribe Called Quest to my list.

Jehst.

I always recommend him but I don't think a single person has ever followed up on it.

I said this somewhere before but if you want some rap that is a little out there check out 'True Live' its a band made up of musicians that all came from the Victorian College of the Arts. They have drums, keyboard, violin, cello, double bass and a guy on vocals. One of the best live acts that i have ever seen.
