Hello exotic owners, I'm thinking of getting one of these basses, but I was just curious about a few things. Mostly I was wondering how the action is for tapping. Recently I've been trying to learn how to do it, but my Geddy Lee's strings feels uncomfortably tight, so I'm trying to find something better for it. And yes, I just had my bass set up in a shop to see if it would make any difference, which it did not.

Thanks for your help guys.

Umm, you can lower your action, you know.

You don't need to buy a whole new bass.

Oh no, i've lowered as much as it can go without excsessive buzzing, plus I wanted a new bass anyways so i could put roundwounds on one and flats on the other.

the stilleto elite has a very nice tapping tone, and they all come setup with low action so its easy to do it also... i believe gav and i think radiobass can vouch for this

Go play an exotic and tell us how the action is. Like I said to someone else like 2 seconds ago, NEVER get a bass you haven't played

Yah let's just ignore the guy that has the most experiance with Schecters, because he doesn't whore them at every oppertunity.

Well, when you come in here blaspheming like that about having adjustable action, nobody's going to listen. It's impossible to adjust your own action. Maybe he needs to get a new bridge with it? Maybe a BadAss so he will have endless sustain and get free cookies whenever he touches it?!
