Which finger?
Maybe a finger pick on another finger?

Which finger? If it's your index, you might want use your middle and your ringer. Or, you can hold the pick between your thumb and your middle, instead.

Hope it heals, or play with a pick with your thumb and ring finger.

Ouch....
Can anybody replace you for that event? It seems like it is really imposible for you to play unless you either tap (like that one-handed guy on that video that was posted days ago) with your left hand, or your slap.
You could also try to pick holding it between your thumb and your ring finger, but that can become pretty hard.
Or don't worry, maybe it will heal in 6 days.

try to play "regge" style, pluck the string with your thumb.

not much you can do really. Just try to suck it up and play the show.
Im afraid the same thing will happen to me in basketball though.

What type of music do you play? Unless it's death metal or punk, I can't see why you even need to use a pick

Put a finger pick on your thumb, and bust.

Will 6 days of healing be enough??
I sure hope so!

Yeah you can get those finger pick rings, just make sure you get a heavy enough guage to use.

your hand did'nt slip and hit the toilet rim did it?

Ice may bring the swelling down

Use a pick between your thumb and ring finger, or use your thumb to pluck the notes as previously mentioned (not ideal for lots of quick notes).

Stop being a damn pussy and play your ****ing bass.
Well, there is a thing that I could type up that would probably help with your fingers, but I'm really tired at the moment, so maybe I'll type it up in the afternoon later today after I've received some rest.

Ice on for 10-15minutes, off for 30.
This will help keep swelling down, therefore help healing.
