i m getting a new mapex m birch and i wanna play mainly punk rock the shop i am getting it from has no rocks in stock and will not do for quite a long time is the fusion one allright for punk thanks

set does not make the musician. the set should be fine, and fusion makes it easier to gig with

grammar, however, does make it easier to understand

Punk is generally fast and involves lots of quick fills around the toms so fusion sizes might make tom positioning for fast rolls easier.

Well man, even though you may play "punk rock" predominately over anything else, I think fusion would be better for you anyway. Fusion sized drums are easier to tune in clean intervals apart, and will(in the likely case that you don't have a rack)be easier to postion than bigger sized rock, or standard sized drums. Plus a fusion setup can easily be used for any genre of music so it'll allow you to move into different styles of playing later on :thumb:

Fusion sizes work great for everything, wether your tuning high or low.
