Hey MX,

I've kind of half learnt this song before, but recently I decided to finish it off. I'm having trouble with a lot of the stuff, honestly. How does he get to the chords so quickly? It sounds like slap for a lot of the stuff, so I can't see how can bust out a chord mid slap?

I know there is a video floating around of this - If someone could YSI or PutFile it, it would be much appreciated. Is there a TAB anyone has? If you could put that here (or even better, into powertab) that would be great.

Also, as a side note - is it a Stingray he is playing in this? The tone sounds like it.

The chords are flamenco strummed and one is popped using two fingers. The video is extremely bad quality so it won't help much. There are a few tabs (look into MXtabs, it has the shorter version which Les plays with Primus and maybe newer ones too. Mysongbook also might have it nowadays. I used the short version and figured the stuff out myself)

Nearly a ninjaedit: MXtabs has the whole song. Just search "the awakening" (we aren't allowed to open links here now)

i believe les is either using his main CT (got a video with that) or some kind of fender jazz (got a video of that too)

For the bass, probably the Fender Jazz because he started using it during that time.

Read the updated rules. I didn't put a direct link because MX might not like it.

You mean the announcements?

It does't say you can't post links, especially because you're posting a legitimate one anyway.

It just recommends you be careful when clicking them.
