The new issue of Bass Guitar (Jaco's on the cover) has a review of it.

I played one in a store a couple of months ago. I wasn't impressed i'm afraid.
I next played a Musicman Sterling SUB - which very much showed it who's boss.

yea I bought that the other day, good issue. I read the review and they said it had a tone similar to a musicman but slightly different. I think the next looks sexy but they need to put some kinda pickguard on it...the body looks too plain.
Cool bass but but a little overpriced in my opinion.

It might be cheaper if you could get a regular jazz, and then rewire it in series, or better add a switch, to flip between series and parallel. Cause thats all it seems like to me, since they are using 2 jazz pickups anyways. I could be wrong though.
