I actually though Elrick upon first sight.
I'd still take a Benevante, though, as AP said.
Hi guys, cheers for the comments. Whatsup Gav. Bands are fine cheers. One funk group (Cuban Heel) and one Blues band (Prime Suspects).
Mainly using the two old Fenders, the 79P (just got it!) and the 75J, as well as the Black Rose Custom Tele - a magnificent bass.
Left Shoe: Love the TRB6P - I'm more of a four string guy so sadly it's not played too much - but when it does, goddamn does it perform!
Hi everyone else!

Those are all really nice.
But I was just wondering why you sold the Lakland (I'm assuming that's what you meant by "just out the door".
Just time to move on. Cleared out my five strings. I got a G&L 2500 to replace the Lakland, which was more me. But no need for fives- and I wanted to get a Variax!

Cool collection, though I'm not really a Yamaha fan. The rest is pretty nice, though.
I have played a Yamaha JP sig, didn't like it much.

The Benevente is easily the stand out bass in the crowd there. I just can't take my eyes off her.
Welcome back, man. It just hasn't been as cool without you and your collection around the forums.

I'd take a benevante over a fodera any day.
Really? I'd prefer a Fodera myself.
But that Benevante is very beautiful, and I'd take it over an XXX flick any day. And that's saying a lot when it comes to me.

I really like the tele bass, I've been gassing for a dual P pickup tele, similar to that one.

Now I remember who has the money again.. Welcome back :smoke:
Hi guys, what a warm welcome back, thanks so much. Missed this place. Just been so busy, I moved, got a new job, rehearsing with the two groups i work with just takes a lot of time too.
I did have a white jazz fretless, a sort of modded 1970s fretless - that was sold to dans107 (he still about?) a while back.
Hope you're all well
Mike

Well, everything here around is just normal. A little more spam attacks from our dear chad and a new casual system. And competitions, if you haven't noticed them.. If you are a solo bassist or want to give it a try; join them.
And well.. new mods etc, but nothing really, really special. CK is very busy with bands and recording etc. Quatre left, but none of us are famous yet ;)

So, how was the Variax bass, Mike?
