Help Singing

Hey bros,
Im in a band, and were doing a cover song of Holiday by Green Day. Now, I dont know what to do because my voice gets messed up when I try to sing as high as Billie Joe, so what should I do?

well first you should avert your eyes from the pic above. then you could try bringing the guitar asnd bass and what not down a half/full step and it should be easier for a lower range singer. i had the same issue since i am a low baritone so if i want to play a song that what i do. try and see how it goes.
