WinDVD Codec

I just obtained a copy of Intervideo WinDVD 7 and it's not playing DVDs. I used a keygen to enter the password and last 4 digits of a credit card number. It should be working.

Do I need to download a codec for it?

Just go here (http://www.videolan.org/vlc) and download the VLC player. It plays basically anything and it's free, no ad/spyware.
