when i open the installshield wizard for napster, it says to close windows media player before continuing. Windows media player is not even on, so i clicked continue. The the message came back again. Why is it doing this?

Ctrl+Alt+Del > Processes Tab

See if "wmplayer.exe" or something similar is running. If so, end it.

That's the only thing I can think of. Did you try restarting the computer?
