I just got this game, and i'm loving it. I've heard that after a while it gets really non linear. Is this true? I'm right at the part where you complete your guild training. Answer that question/discuss the game.

It is linear the whole way through. Only a few side quest are non-linear. They only replay value is to be good one game and be bad the other, also to change your decision at the end.
I have it for Xbox then downloaded Lost Chapters, I'm too lazy to get to the extra content.
I really want to play this game. I tried downloading it, but I couldn't get it to work, and I'm too cheap to buy it. My brother took the Xbox to college so I can't just go out and rent it :(

yeahhh it's linear the whole way through. still a pretty good game, IMO, just gets a bit samey eventually. the "lost chapter" section is short but the consequences of the branch of the new ending that i took are pretty cool. i took the evil branch, btw.

I didn't play The Lost Chapters. I played the original Fable and was pretty dissappointed so I never bothered. The game was a great idea, but it flopped in execution. It was far to short, the quests weren't really all that great...overall it just fell way short of my expectations.
+3kk!

fallout > fable
for a non-linear, fallout 1 & 2 is the best
