Come to think of it my friend did do a video of me a couple of years ago with me horsing about on the bass. Played through a guitar amp with distortion doing a bit of anesthesia, some out of tune finger widdling and then into blackbird finishing off with the bash and slide palm down the fretboard and then sliding back up again. The last bit actualyl sounded damn cool which was weird, could never get that same sound again. But anyway, if that crops up OH NOES. :(

I don't care about virtuosos, but if your going to record yourself playing bass
1. Know how to tune it
2. Chances are if you can't play with your finger/s you can't play with a pick
3. No one can hear your instrument if it isn't plugged in, don't bother
4. If you suck don't post videos and take up internet space

Dude, mario is not a funk song and not everything that comes out of a bass has to be some awesome groove, but you did bring up some points like he played with one finger the whole time, but once again mario, tetris, and the imperial march (though it was awful) is not supposed to be legato and the guy was doing it for fun. I don't blame you not liking it but don't start useing musical terms unless you know what your talking about.
