its slapping downward with your thumb and clipping the string coming up. Watch the classical thump video on victor wooten's site under lessons.
It's where you take both your thumbs, and put them...

You should make it a video and clean it up a little bit. It sounds good but I think you can take the classical thump stuff slower and cleaner.

Umm... I'm not prepared to try and prove myself of ow long I've been playing... as if it really matters :lol:. But, yeah bleive what ou want.
I don't know guage strings I use. I go to the shop, the guy there knwos what strings I like (same oens everytime) and I put them on. I've seen th enubmers but never bothered to remember them.

Yeah. I hadn'twarmed up my thumb when I did the audio so you an hear those rathe rannoying squeaks sometimes. And yeah, a video woudl be good!I need a camera!

Here is some Victor Wooten video, he uses double thumbing a few times in the videos.
Don't think of the thumb like a thumb, it is not slapping. Think of it like a guitar pick, go through the string and then come back up hitting it as well, like a pick. It is hard to explain.

its just an up and down movement with your thumb/wrist/arm (cant remember lol, dont usualy think about it much). its like useing your thumb as a pick though. im shure the vidios explain beter than me.

yes, yes it is, its a form of slapping - most people dont slap like that, but allot of people do (look at how quatre slapped - through the string)
