so im getting a vintage 80's dunlop crybaby bass wah pedal, the ones that spring right back-up into starting position. what do you guys think of it? its $110, btw. im also getting a Digitech Bass Driver overdrive/distortion pedal. how do you think it sounds? anybody own it? it was $80. opinions will be appriecated.

EDIT: after talking w/ my parents, my mom is going to return the bass driver and i am going to give her $20, then she will get the BBE 362 sonic maximizer, something i have always wanted. so wants ur opinion's on this?

The Digitech XBD is very good, IMO. Check the review-section.

get pic's of the wah and all... it sounds like my exact wah. I've got vintage Dunlop GCB-100 bass wah.. but i dont care for it, and would like to sell it... *wants a morely wah*

i'd be happy with $60 if your up to it?

I don't like the Digitech Bass Driver. I never got as much low end as I wanted (and still get the highs). Original tone was out the window too.

But hey, if it feels good to you.

i heard the loss too. but i have 1x15 and an 8-band eq. i made sure the amp i was playing thru at the store had the same. i did some tweaking with eq and that problem was solved.:thumb:

I got the XBD, and had it for a few months. Although it sounded good to me in the store, when I brought my unit home, I hated the tone of it. Sure, I could get lots of tones, but none of them sounded very good. I don't know. If you plan on getting one, check your store's return policy... I took mine back for an OBD-3, although it's restricted in what it can do tone-wise, it's all good. Rather opposite of the XBD.

My two cents.
