I was listening to the old school rock/metal station and they played an Iron Maiden song I hadnt heard before. It had an awesome melodic bass solo in it. Harris has a really cool style! Anyone know what Iron Maiden songs have bass solos in them? I want to investigate Harris' soloing a little further.

It could have been BotWH, Iron Maiden, Clairvoyant..those are the only three songs I can think of with bass solos, but there's probably one or two more.

"2 Minutes to Midnight" has really good bass work in it, it is kind of like a solo. same with "Revelations."
"Phantom of the opera" has a bass interlude that is really good, so does "Seventh son of a Seventh son (song, not album)."
"Wrath Child" has a cool intro.
"Only the Good Die Young" is the only maiden song with a bass "solo" that I can think of.

"Killers" has a great bass intro. It was one of the first songs that got me into bass.

'Arry once said in an interview that he finds bass solos boring

powerslave (song, not the album) has a pretty good one.. but 2mins to midnight's got probably the hardest bassline of all maiden songs..

Although its a matter of opinion, I don't think that 2 Minutes is their hardest. Or even one of the harder ones.

2 Minutes is nowhere near the hardest Maiden bassline...I'd say Rime, just for stamina issues. I can barely do "gallop" rhythm in Hallowed up to speed for 2 minutes, much less playing most of a 13 minute song that way
there are no iron maiden bass solos... steve harris thinks bass solos or boring and that the only people that can actually pull it off are billy sheehan and the guy form wishbone ash. end of disscusion
