fretless finish?

hey all, i have just finished defretting a bass i bought from school yesterday and am wondering what finish to apply to the neck? can people give me some recommendations for types of finish and brands please

I used this, it was kind of annoying, but it came out well...

It's super glossy at first but if you do anything to it, the gloss fades :(


just keep it dust free and don't touch it for like 3-4 days

i just got done defretting my p-bass about a week ago...i just used poly erathane to finish it off...either poly or epoxy works best for this...

i can't remember the brand that i used...but just head on over your local hardware store and talk to one of the employees and ask them what is their best brand for these to seal off your wood...

i would suggest adding about 3 coats of each...
