Right so I've been useing Dean Markley strings for a while now and recently my guitarist started useing DR strings for his guitar and kept going on and on and on about how great they are and said i should think about seing them for my bass. So I listened and im now thiking about getting some DR strings, but the only ones that have the gauge i want (.50-.110) are the HI0beams an the Lo-Riders, so now I'm wondering which kind I should get. If anyones tried either of these out can you please recomend me one. If it helps I play thrash-metal (think metallica, megadeth and pantera only without a pick) and a good example of my tone is Cliff Burtons tone from Kill 'Em All. help appreciated, and please dont tell me to try them for myself, even though i know that would be best I just want to get in and get out when I get these. Thanks
