The fastest I've ever gotten is about 15 MB/s. Not off Bittorrent, of course. The fastest torrent I can remember getting went at about 2500 kB/s.

Fastest speed I ever got was 2kb, and I have a 1mb DSL connection.

You were probably trying to get a file with one seed or something. Either that, or your download was being interfered with by a shitty firewall.

I just got rid of BitTorrent and download BitLord.
It's much better, I'm downloading at 20kb (yeah, it's not that much), which is better than the goddamn 1kb a second on BitTorrent.

I have 8mb Comcast, and I average about 40-50kbps for torrents. :-/ *is 15 minutes away from having every season of Scrubs*

For normal downloads I get somewhere between 300-400kbs. But of course Comcast has been super retarded lately and I'm only getting around 75kbps. :angry:

The most I've ever gotten is around 400kbps on a 2mb DSL connection. Although that sounds pretty good, my upload speed is only 128kb, which is pretty pathetic compared with my download speed.

Most downloads off servers run at 200kpbs for me, then slow down to about 100kbps gradually. Good enough for me really. The most I can ever get using Torrents is about 150-200 though. :-/

Wow 40k! I used to get some good boosts when I used WinMX. I got up to 20k a few times but no where near 40k. It's wierd. I still want cable though, but it's too expensive.

Wow that's cheap, especially when the $79 plan here is only 512k/s....

I pay $25 a month for my dial up which at least gives me a connection.

The best I got with my 3 mbps ADSL is like 220 KB/s or so. It's really running at 2.2 mbps. That's megabits per second, not mega bites per second.
