This is good at removing that kind of adware:
http://www.safer-networking.org/
Might not work, though. Some adware is very tenacious. But try it first. If it doesn't work post back up and more links will follow.

Ctrl+Alt+Delete Check the processes. Take a screenshot and post them up here. Take this to the Media Center also.
This might help too:

Doesn't sound like a virus. Sounds more like spyware/adware to me.
Get Ad-Aware.

what am i blaming myself for...?
and Ex, it's a good thing in this case. and saying that is like saying you love how PS2s play XBox games. they're rival companies, so compatibility isn't really much of an option... while it would be good sometimes, i can always get a PC emulator if need be.

Yeah. I Googled it and it's a nasty piece of adware. TS, follow our directions and begin scanning. And post a screenshot of running processes in your Task Manager, not the ad itself. This might take awhile. Be patient, though.
EDIT: What the ad is telling you is bogus. You can ignore it. Download one of our recommended programs and use it.......

Quarintine sets them aside until you diecide what you want to do with them. You can delete them or restore them, but they should be inactive. What exactly did you find?

Disconnect from the internet when you run your scan because a lot of adware/spyware can regenerate when you try to remove it if it has an active connection to the web.
Also, download and install the following programs:
Spyware Blaster (http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/sbdownload.html)
Spybot - Search & Destroy (http://fileforum.betanews.com/download/Spybot_Search_and_Destroy/1043809773/1)
CCleaner (http://www.filehippo.com/download/file/27dea14fae216bc5e272a9bbd47852963e97edae0daeadc9d7 45c9a890769351/)

Also, download and install the following programs:
Spyware Blaster
Spybot - Search & Destroy
CCleaner
Those will do just dandily, Also Mcafee Stinger (http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/) Will check for a few obvious viruses.
I know people are always quick to flame but give the guy a break.
Rats!

omg dangur spywairz
just do as people have said. get ad-aware, spybot, ccleaner, cwshredder, UPDATE THEM, then restart in safe mode and run them all, then restart and install all windows updates. if you continue having problems, get hijackthis, post the log here, and someone will tell you what to remove.

So is all ok? Listen, stuff will come up. It's all a part of being online. Most of the time it is no big deal and easily deleted. But sometimes it can be nasty and persistent and intrusive, as in your case. I recommend these four programs:
MS Anti-Spyware Beta 1. This offers real time protection and blocks stuff before it gets on your computer.
Ad-Aware SE Personal. I think you have this now. It's a good basic scanner and cleaner.
Spybot Search and Destroy. Great at detecting malware and adware. And good at cleaning it, too.
CCleaner. This cleans out you recent Windows and internet files. It also has an excellent registry cleaner. Just make sure to auto back up your registry before your first clean. The program does it for you.
So if it's all straightened out now, get these things and use them regularly. I would post links but am very tired. Google will do the trick. And if you have anymore questions or need anymore help or advice, post back up.
