Free webcam software! (that takes and saves pictures, no time limits)

Can anyone hook me up with one of these? The last time I tried to look for one it took like an hour to find it. I'm not in a big rush to find it...just a little lazy and I can't find the old one I used to use (dacamyoweb). Anyways, don't need anything too fancy, if it can record vids and pics that'd be cool.

See, that's the problem. It's just some crappy webcam that doesn't have a make. I need a program that doesn't require a specific webcam (they do exist, i was using them before). It's funny because my webcam didn't even come with the software to take pictures :/

when you plug it into your computer, does it says you need to install it, or is it automatically recognized?

There's a pretty good chance it would take less time for you to find the program you used before than it will take for someone to respond. Just do it yourself. Google/Download.com/CNet... one of these will have something that you're looking for.

i looked on the nexxtech website and i didnt find that model. can you find another model/serial number on the bottom?
