Rightio, so i'm getting new heads. This is what i've decided, tell me what you think [yes i know its hardly worth a new thread, none to hijack]:

Bass:
Clear EMAD Batter and Powerstroke-3 Coated Reso

Snares:
5x14" Wood: Coated Reverse Black-Dot CS over Snare-side Ambassador
6.5x14" Steel Shell (aux): Coated Ambassador over Snare-side Ambassador

Toms:
Coated Ambassadors over Smooth White Resos [amb weights]

I can't complain with anything there, stay with the CS and Ambs.

Do you think i should go heavier for toms and lighter for my main snare?
I have clear emps over clear ambs for my toms right now but feel i need a change back to single-plys..

Coated Amb over Clear/smooth white amb, great combo.

CS Black Dot snare batter, coated Ambassador aux. snare batter, snareside Ambassador on both, clear Powerstroke 3 bass batter, ebony bass resonant, and clear Ambassadors over clear Ambassadors on all the toms. That's a perfect setup imo, though I would be tempted to put a coated Ambassador on my main snare as well, but Black Dots are wicked heads if you're after a bit more durability. Personally, I have a coated Amb on my main snare.

thanks for everone's advice; i think i'll go the same toms and snares combos, but go clear-EMAD/coated-EQ3 for bass (with a pre-cut hole).

Sounds great to me the way you had it. Id swap out the coated PS3 for a smooth white amb though.
