I don't know, my Stingray neck breaks every 2 months. Works out nicely, since I get strings every 4 months to keep that tinny, ratty sound.

The only difference between the two is price and the neck material, one being made of wood and the other made of graphite.

pf, it's all the same thing.. fender, ernie ball, gibson, modulous.... it's all just wood w/ metal and electronic's.. whats the big deal?

 kidding...

i have no experience w/ modulous at all... but the stringray is pretty sweet IMO... i really love the tone's out of it..

Flea, Flea, Flea, Flea, Flea.

Once you go carbon fiber, you'll never go back. :D
The feel, tone, and everything is so much different than wood. I can't vouch for the tone on the Flea bass or anything, but the Quantum neck is a beautiful thing.

And if you get it, and it's not in a blue sparkle finish, I'll hunt you down... I want one.

Well I have played both, a Stingray and Flea bass.
I loved them both, this is a very hard decision.

well if you can aford the modulus why are you compareing it to the 2 band eq 4 string stingray? you could aford a 5 string 3 band eq stingray with piezos.

out of the 2 band eq stingray and the modulus i would say the modulus by a country mile but if you get the more upgraded version of the stingray it becomes a slightley harder choice.
